Councillor Amber Morley was elected to represent Ward 3, Etobicoke-Lakeshore on Toronto City Council on October 24th 2022.
For over 20 years, Councillor Morley has been working on behalf of the residents of Etobicoke-Lakeshore, while pursuing advocacy at all levels of government. Amber has used her voice to bring attention to issues such as poverty reduction, youth equity, good governance and access to city spaces and services. As the Director of the South Etobicoke Youth Assembly at LAMP CHC, Amber organized, advocated, and fought alongside local young people to advance the needs and aspirations of peers and neighbours in her community.
Amber’s passion and belief in local impact led her to the position of Administrative Assistant to Councillor Peter Milczyn in what was then Ward 5, followed by the position of Constituency Assistant for Ward 4 Etobicoke-Centre in 2016. During the COVID-19 pandemic Amber rejoined the team at LAMP CHC, coordinating the South and Central Etobicoke Vaccine Engagement Team (SEVET) in collaboration with local ambassadors and the City of Toronto.
Amber’s family instilled in her the values of intention, inclusion, love and respect, which guide her to this day. As your City Councillor, Amber is working to build an equitable and inclusive community for all.
